Second Chance Project intentionally addresses the troubling subject of recidivism i.e the habitual practice of re offending, particularly in criminal activity. This is being addressed through an innovative and purposeful programme presented inside our prisons.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics indicates around 53% of current offenders, have previously served a prison term.
This volunteer group is working to see this figure reduced through an effectively structured approach.
The Music and Multi Media programme presented to inmates, is one of these means.
